The first thing we did was take care of the families that were getting kicked out of a hotel. They were going to have to go to a shelter.

You've got to be ready for everything. I know I've played well here, and I know all you have to do is outplay the other guy.

The guys who hit it high and long will have an advantage, for sure.

I feel a lot better about it than not being able to play on the weekend that's for sure. I've come back with a couple of solid rounds, so I feel pretty good. I'm just trying to hit good shots, work on my game a little bit so that I feel good about every part of it.

I desperately want to be part of that team. I needed to get off to a good start so I didn't have all that pressure on me toward the summer. This helps a lot. There was a sense urgency.

If I had it in a perfect world, I'd like 12 under par to win the tournament. I've always said if you can do that, you've challenged the players, but they're not playing the U.S. Open, either.

I don't know if you give the best player in the world any extra incentive to want to beat you.

He's one of those special guys that doesn't come along very often. Watching his game, how he goes about his business, it's still very impressive. You can tell he's been able to do what he's done because he's different. He's more driven and more focused than any person I've ever been around in professional golf.
